Carpooling: sharing a taxi

Mr. Alejandro Taubas and Mr. Alejo Miragaya are the creators of Viapool, a company that offers solutions of transportation and messenger services in companies focusing on the reduction of costs and the provision of effectiveness.

The company was formed in 2007 aiming at the creation of a website so that fellow employees of a given company could share vehicles to travel to work. Later, they realized that it might work in other companies as well.

Viapool designs alternate mobility options based on Google Maps. Mr. Taubas and Mr. Miragaya have developed software to be used by all employees of a given company through on-line access. When a certain trip is selected, the system offers similar trips for them to decide whether to share it or not.
